Handwritten Calligraphy

turning envelopes into mini works of art

HANDWRITTEN CALLIGRAPHY

Picture this: Imagine checking your mailbox, surrounded by bills and junk mail, and finding a beautifully handwritten calligraphy envelope. Your name is elegantly scripted in the most romantic font, making it irresistible to open. You instinctively know that whatever lies inside is as beautiful as the envelope itself. The anticipation builds, and you’re aware that you’ll clear your calendar for whatever event you’re being invited to. That’s the same excited feeling your guests will experience when they receive your wedding invitation in their mailbox.

My calligraphy style is rooted in the delicate Spencerian script with a modern, romantic approach. Due to the handwritten nature, no two envelopes or cards will be alike, contributing to the charm of a one-of-a-kind piece.

If you are an existing wedding client, I will provide the envelopes, adding an extra 20% for human error (after all, I am one). For calligraphy clients only, if you provide your own envelopes, please confirm they meet my approved standards, adding an extra 20% for inevitable mistakes. In general, thicker paper produces the nicest results.

My handwritten calligraphy service has a turnaround time of approximately 2 – 3 weeks, excluding shipping time. And if you know you want to secure my calligraphy services, it’s best to reserve your spot sooner rather than later as my production calendar fills quickly. This goes for whatever services you’re interested in, be that save-the-dates and invitation guest addressing, or day-of paper goods like place cards and escort cards.

A 30% non-refundable retainer is due to secure your spot on my design calendar. The remaining balance and your guest list will be due before I begin addressing.
